Conversations are stored on-device in an encrypted database. There are no API calls to external model providers during inference — the model weights live on the hardware itself. When you ask JockiBot a question, the entire computation happens on your machine, and the response is returned directly to your interface.

Compare this to a typical cloud AI service, where your prompt is sent over the internet to a data center, processed alongside requests from thousands of other users on shared GPU clusters, and the response is routed back through the same shared infrastructure. Even with encryption in transit, the data exists in plaintext on the provider's servers during processing.
